The Story

Fine artists, glassblowers, wood carvers, silversmiths... on Granville Island maker spirit is alive and well. And while some craftspeople strive to create works that are complete originals, others have perfected the art of taking something great and making it their own. Much like the German brewers who took Czech pilsner and adapted it to suit the mineral water and local Tettnanger hops available to them, resulting in a beer that's lighter in colour but more well-balanced. The German-style Pilsner you're holding is our own take on the style, delicately crisp and finishing with a pleasant hint of hoppy bitterness.
